Plan of Salvation

We are all in need of salvation because we are all sinners.
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God"  (Romans 3:23)

Because we are all sinners, we deserve eternal death.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

Jesus loves us and was crucified for us that we might have eternal life.
"But God comendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

To claim the salvation that Christ offers, we must repent of (be heartily sorry for) our sins, ask Jesus Christ to come into our hearts (lives), and, with His help, change our way of living.
"For whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13)

Once you have asked Jesus into your life, you should share your testimony with others.
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)

The next step is to find a Bible-preaching, Bible-believing church and share your experience with the pastor. Ask him to pray for you and help you become a better Christian. If you are in our area, we invite you to our church. See the  "Contact Us" page for directions.
